I met a guy from Mexico City recently and he was telling me how his dad got kidnapped. Lotsa crime around there. The people need to get together and take back their streets, pray and organize and get it together!

Yup, experience speaks, unfortunately. Next time around's gonna be better, though. Gonna treat the little lady better and different and things might be different, who knows, but what's OK with her'll be OK with me, from the way I'm gonna figure it and gonna work things out.

Check out proverbs, chapter 9, says much the same thing, but more elegantly. And besides, it depends on what your definition of "adult" is. I did kind of notice some folks getting under your skin in this forum. Best to have thick skin and take stuff with a grain of salt (several!).

Religion's what makes the world go round, bubba. I'm glad you're disturbed when you hear about it, though. It must be getting through if it bugs you. And I agree about the overweight bit, we as a society, myself included, are losing that battle.

I think it's cause women were taken from men in the creation story. God, seeking a suitable helper for Adam after he said it's not good for man to be alone, took a rib from Adam with the guy in a deep sleep, wrapped flesh around the rib, blew the breath of life into Eve's body and voila, a woman! Adam and Eve got together and it's been off we go ever since! Woman, the word, literally means, "from man" according to some things I've seen. Since then, though, it's taken women to create all the guys!

Haven't looked at the link but I'd have to say yes, we are. We're certain of where we stand and take great comfort in knowing adherance to conservative principles will bring great liberty, security and prosperity to mankind.

While some conservative commentators lately can be rather abrasive, I agree with their drift, though.

And some of their humor is screamingly funny, too!

I cry when something reminds me of my wife. She passed away a couple of years ago. I also cried over a sad letter someone wrote me and when I watched my great granddaughters get baptized a week or two ago. It was so neat!
