There are always bigger issues when the squabbling is that petty. No one hates the toilet paper roll hung backwards bad enough to pick a fight over, but it happens all the time. Please! hehehehe! When my ex cheated on me, I took down the painting that hung over our bed and put it in the garage, saying I wouldn't look at the ugly thing one more second...even though I new I was leaving asap. It's kinda funny now, but was somehow the most important thing in the world to me at the time...NOT!

Thought it was rhetorical. But my opinion is that while the aftereffect may bring you a sense of pride in knowing you're doing the right thing, the act alone is benefiting your son and ex wife and not you...especially if it's an uncomfortable reunion each time he sees her.
