 i beg to differ  i would like to view 'all' as beautiful. but I would be lying to myself if I did. replace the word 'all' with 'most' and i would more likely agree. |

i want a beautiful woman i don't like beautiful woman they are too critical of the who within them as they are made up they take up too much space in their own worlds i see these girls and i can hardly recognize their face what they show me i cannot embrace I want a real woman who needs no make up a woman who can smile outside as is one that knows the differences as she keeps her head up and dresses in a white shirt opposed to black a girl with meat who likes to flirt like that i want a woman i want a girl not some made up chick from out of this world |

afraid
of those who show me sympathy squinting so hard watering down my diary the ink smudged tears rewritten in poetry clearly to blurry tainted i scurry captive I fear tears the tears of variety some might cheer of such jeers inside of me but the truth of the matter is my heart is my diary abstracted through knowing me on the one hand poetry in my other i clench what you do not need to see my diary so upset it cries with me affecting disecting deeds trailed less intact thee impact half fast poetically less cracks |

As I held her hand it felt real good laying in her bed talking about life the present from past to future through time I looked in her eyes as she smiled as we laid there I shivering tense jaws talking about current pains crying and holding her hand tighter mentally cringed physically drained i shared my bad luck and visions she encouraged me as well as she nourished me gave me more hope despite being broke from a sour heart i laid there on my side one hand holding up my head she doing the same facing me comforting me I turned on my back to smother the shakyness as she rubbed my back with her free hand I felt gifted by this thanking her for being so patient with me she smiled and the words she didnt say were written on her face reading through emotions face to face feeling less shakey and more calm thanking god she is my mom |

I wanted to stand up an cheer after reading this...
Life is what you make of it. Yes it may be. However we all walk around daily and wonder why we cant get along with the people we meet. I am showing you why as we speak. It is because no one is subtle any more and everyone assumes that we mean one thing. The art of expression is meaningless and has no true queen. We all roam day to day wondering, "What, oh what did he or she say?" All of us want answers with no clue yet we all pray. My answer to this, is as simple as three letters. We all need to remember that honesty has no definition. We render its condition. Unfortunately in today's society we all expect so much that we have no sense of the subtle. Because life is out of touch. And that, is creative writing. In whatever sense "Mingle" wanted us to use this forum for unless we were writing poetry. My answer to the question was "spoken" but not written-- hence creative writing. |
