I like to think that I would stand up for anyone being ill treated in any situation...unless it would jeopardize my own family at the time of the incident.

It's happened. Funny how there is nothing nicer than a tongue you DO want, but nothing grosser than one you DON'T!!!

As someone who can't seem to make the first move, I prefer a warning shot before the heavy artillery comes out. That way if I don't want to return fire, I can retreat before there is an unwanted tongue down my throat.

We lived without a microwave, dishwasher, cable or air conditioner...even in the car. We had a washing machine, but no dryer, so we had to hang clothes on the line in the warm months and in the basement in cold months. My mother hand made all our clothes until we were past 6th grade, and then store bought clothes were bought at least one size too big so they could be hemmed and taken out to go one more round. We grew our own veggies in the back yard. We ate tons of beans, rice and taters with those veggies, saving meat dishes for two days of the week generally. My father repaired everything, so we didn't buy anything unless we didn't have one to begin with. We never bought books, but were the #1 best library customers. Other than some texts and a bible that was gifted to me at 10, I don't think I OWNed a book until long into adulthood.

The reason I say IDK, is that we watched every penny in my house growing up because my parents chose to live house poor so we could move into a safe and friendly neighborhood with the best schools in the city at the time. So, cheap? I don't think so, cause it sure cost THEM a lot!

I'm thankful for my friends and family...but most of all for my best friend Awolf, who keeps me sane after I've been around my friends and family too long.

I loved psychology classes, but the idea of taking up the study made me fear for my own sanity.
