I was born on Friday 13th :)
I have always heard it used to be a good and positive day until church persecuted the Knights Templar on a Friday the 13th.
Ever since Friday the 13th was made out to be a bad day.

Friday itself was always good as it's named after Frigg, the Norse goddess of motherhood, marriage, fertility, the home.

As for the number 13... I believe that it's church's doing that it got a bad name. Especially related to the Knights Templar story.
These knights had become very influential an rich and the French king felt threatened by them. If memory serves, he owed the templars money that he had borrowed, and he couldn't pay them back.
He then schemed with the pope to have the Knights killed.
Prior to that the pope had worked with the Templars, had supported them etc. But he also wasn't too keen they were getting so influential.
So they captured them, tortured them in the most horrible ways so in the end they confessed to whatever they were forced to confess.
And of course they were made to confess to evil, diabolic stuff and heresy.

As for moons... every couple years we have a 13th full moon.
Zodiac sign... there originally was a 13th; Snake, in between Scorpio and Sagittarius. It was removed from the Zodiac at some point.

Feeling a little bit un-rhythmed. I think I just invented a word :D

Had wanted to paint this afternoon, but I had to go to my GP's to pick up my meds (hormones). That couldn't wait as I was about to run out of my oestrogen gel this weekend. And you cannot just quit using that, could cause a heart attack.

I got my stuff now, but it's almost dinner time. Thank goodness I got Chinese left over from yesterday.
Meaning... I can paint a bit and maybe later on this evening as well :)

It's been a great day, I'm still happy and smiling. Only difference now is that I'm yawning a lot too, haha.

Then I type a reply and it doesn't show up either?

I got one too, a hawthorn wand, but haven't used it in some time so it could be a tad rusty. Goddess knows what happens if I use it!?

Been a good day for me :)
Yesterday my head caused me serious grief and I was not in a good mood, today my head wasn't happy either, but I decided to sod it, take a paracetamol and get painting regardless.
It somehow worked out well and it made me happy :D
Then on top of the the convo with my girlie, yup, me is happy, haha.

Just spoke to my girlie on the phone and she used a word that I understood but thought to not be Dutch but literally translated from English.

I giggled as having that problem is so familiar to me. Turned out to be a Dutch word after all, and I again had to laugh as clearly I'm confused -again- when it comes to my own mother tongue, hihi.

I told her that I'm often still more comfortable using English than Dutch, and she said she feels the same way.
She also still uses a lot of English and English slang, as do I.
I said it would probably never change, never go away anymore. Then she surprised me by saying she wouldn't want it to. I had not expected that. And I feel the same way.
Speaking English is part of me, has been for my entire adult life. Meaning for most of my life, haha.

Difference being she speaks AmE and I speak BrE.

I do sometimes wonder why I have this fascination with the English language. It has always been that way, even when I was a young girlie.
Must be a past life thing. Which would explain why I feel so unbelievably at home in the UK and in AUS.
And then even get a daughter who's got the same 'problem', haha.

And yeah, I'm having fun, painting again, and doing some other things here and there. But before I know it the day's over again and it's time for bed. Again.
Which is what I'm going to do now, bed & sleep. It's gone 1 and I'm tired & sleepy.

Yes they're real handy! I only got mine about 2 months ago, just in case of an emergency.
I too have a cigarette port in my car but the darned thing doesn't work. Same problem in the car I had before. At the time, when I had to get this car, I thought, "okay, gonna miss the old one but at least I'll have a cig lighter again." Only to find out it didn't work in this car either?
I guess my cars are trying to tell me to finally quit smoking, hahaha.
Does mean I can't charge anything with it either.

I hope that scenario never comes true... I'd hate to lose all my paintings! It'd break my heart.

I can't do with 1 suitcase. No way I'm leaving my 3 cats behind!! So they come with me one way or another.

Apart from that first my meds, which includes my hormones (if you quit taking oestrogen just like that you risk getting a heart attack!)

Definitely put my firestick in my pocket! And a flashlight. And a lighter.
Mobile & charger, power bank so I can charge it 4x with that.
(Rolling) tobacco and cigarette papers to roll a smoke!

Empty the bucket with emergency stuff in the suitcase. Has an emergency blanket, candles, food. Tablets to purify water.
Really warm clothes.

Certainly my pillow, which is a special one for people with neck issues.
And probably some of my crystals. Probably my fave crystal skull.

I got a real large trolley on wheels which I bought when I went to the US. So I can take quite a lot with me :D

I bought a power bank a few months ago. Keep that charged at all times. If it's a good one you can charge your phone 3-4 times with that :)

Watching the Divergent movies again :)
Only got the last one left to watch.

It's the updated version of "Man are from Mars & Women from Venus" as people and society have changed.
Nothing 50 shades-like in it. I've written a couple of those myself :)
