Speaking for myself alone, I cannot be doing with an adult that needs constant nurturing and looking after, like a child needs looking after... I had at some point imagined finding someone who is an equal, to stand beside me and we'd weather the rough patches with the good patches... After I retired (59m) I sought a divorce. No shenanigans, the marriage had died of natural causes. Anyone else in this boat? Hi Logan, People end up starting over for any number of reasons, it's never easy but I still think the older methods of getting out and socialising in a social club is the best way of meeting and making new friends...
