Everyone has baggage...if you say you don't, you're kidding yourselves...some may have giant suitcases, others may just have carry-on... If you care about the other person, you help them deal with theirs & vice versa...& move on... But if they wallow in it forever...they should do it alone... Baggage is normal but it doesn't have to drag you down. Hear hear!!!! And if you can't accept the person and everything that goes with them then you aren't really in love with the person in question. Everyone has issues of some kind and they often bleed over into new relationships dealing with it is part of the package deal. It's called being supportive.... I went from being the manager of a shelter to now being the: 1. Manager 2. counselor 3. Youth Care Specialist (Hands on, working the floor) 4. Cook 5. Maintenance Man 6. Gardner 7. Supervisor and something else I can't even remember. I work 8 - 5 Mon - Fri normally. Right now I am on my 13th day straight and have worked both weekends, 2nd and 3rd shifts.  I am feeling Obama....not in a very good way. I hear you! Obama promised change ...and he was voted him in. Pfffffffffft! AND YOU FELL FOR THAT LINE......

I have used a CPAP machine for 12 years. Best invention known to man.
Sleep Apnea can lead to numerous heath problems. I snored so bad my wife and kids could not sleep. I slept, but never rested, I was tired all the time and had dark circles under my eyes. The problem will only get worse until you are falling asleep at work or while driving. After the first night I slept with my machine, I felt like a million bucks. The machines are not loud and your partner should not even hear it. My girl friend says it is better that I wear it instead of dying. Beside, I think I look like a sexy fighter pilot while I sleep.  You need to get it checked out, it is an easy problem to fix. I won't ever go without mine. |

I was married for 29yrs. My divorce only took 85 days from the day she said she was leaving until it was signed.
I say that to say this,,,,,I was glad to be free and be able to enjoy people again. I did go on a dinner date before the divorce. I was not looking for a relationship, I just was enjoying being around a nice lady. I was honest about being separated and not yet divorced. There are times when dating or just going out are OK, I believe. |

I think these days, the right to own guns is vital. You never know when someone may break into your house with the intent to kill and steal. And America is not invincible to terrorists. You never know when some country may invade and attack. Should that happen, you may need to defend yourself, and probably a knife or baseball bat won't be much help. At least with a gun, you have a fighting chance. I have no intention of being taken captive by an American terrorist or an International one. Forgive me, but i think you are a little paranoid. The US has been attacked twice in the last 60 odd years, Pearl Harbour and 9/11. The chance that you will be required to fight off international terrorists is about the same as my head exploding in the next 30 seconds. *SPLAT* Maybe that is why we have only been attacked twice!!!! |

Owning a gun because hunting or shooting is a hobby or a trade is one thing, owning a gun just for the sake of it, is another. Quite unnecessary in my opinion. But then i understand that i don't understand the gun culture in the US. The guns dont kill people, people kill people argument is quite weak, i feel. Its quite difficult to kill somebody by accident with a knife or a baseball bat, for example. Yes you can own a gun and you can be responsible and no harm will come to anybody. But when half an entire population own guns, there will always be mistakes, and people will end up dead. Quess we have to give up our cars and trucks too.
