The problem was discussed by Bastiat, as an issue with seen vs unseen. While hybrid cars have some very attractive "seen" advantages, their "unseen" disadvantages are troubling. The rare earth minerals required for creating their batteries are quickly being used up. The mines where the minerals are taken from are open pits. The processing of the minerals is dangerous and many of the minerals are themselves poisonous. Add to this that the use of hybrids in the US is based on mostly coal power and that hybrids represent a great strain on our power grid, then hybrids aren't nearly as attractive as their "seen" advantages make them appear. So why do you think it is that the detrimental disadvantages of hybrid cars are rarely mentioned? If those who are pushing for them are really concerned about the environment, why do they push for the hybrid, when it's arguably the more polluting choice when the full life cycle is taken into account? |

hhhmmm this disturbing news....Extremists Moslim groups that premote killing of guys is not a suprise to me...Our media choses the stories the wnat to write and if they believe the topic is to controverseal. (especially since homosexuality is now widely excepted in the US) This could have a politcal impact on the endless battle of achieving and maintaining peace with Iraq? And I am sure the our Gov. had drawn a line in the sand on what they want the American public to see or know about..

I do not think that there is any art so to speak... No matter how you look at it breaking up is not something anyone likes to do. I think the important thing is to truefull with yourself as well as with your partner. The sooner the two of you fiqure out that the relationship is not going to work, you need to kiss good bye. For a pretty girl you might want to make an effort to be a little more subtle and let someone like you the person, and you them for more than a young body. If you keep advertiseing yourself like you are you are not likely to find a prince but you might find a pimp. That I am sure sounds harsh but I hope you pick up that you are jeapordizing your saftey and your reputation; both which should be important to you. Dateing for a 19 year old should be something considerable less focused on sex and more your over all future. Exploreing interests. Learning about careers. Working and saving for your own place. I would recommend developeing some friendships and when people see you having fun then you will recieve more genuine invitations for dates.

hhmm I think it would be important that if a woman has interest in you so will and would want you to succeed. I would also think and hope a woman be interested to know you for who you are and be willing to accept you and your career. I think that it would be in your best interest to make it known what your intentions so you do not have to go through what you have already gone through again.

 So... The kid's wanted to bring one of their dogs here, this week. I said OK!....on the counter was a bowl of the dog's food. Ok....they feed her and walk her etc.... I was looking for a late night snack. In the "fridge" I found a bowl of rice with, chicken, peas, carrots, snow peas, and a nice broth. It is not unusual for the kid's to bring me food......So I ate it...it was very bland but OK.... The next day they asked...."who ate the dog food?" I said it is right there on the counter.....NO, the food from the fridge!!!! OOOPs! Apparently, they make their own dog food...??? Their dogs eat better than I do.....??? It's a dog's life!!!! this is great....I would have loved to see your face when they said it was dog food Did you turn green just from the thought of eating dog food???

First of I do not generaly sleep around and If the relationship progresses to this point...protection is in order....bare back is dangerous.. I am watching 20/20 and have come across an interesting story. A man knew he had AIDS and continued to date at least 23 women. If he was having sex with them without telling them he had AIDS then he should go to prison |
