so if I wanted to go out and have 25 kids, who would be supported by the taxpayers...you'd see nothing wrong with that? Has the whole country lost any sense of personal responsibility? Has the idea of "If you can't feed 'em, don't breed 'em" skipped over the majority of people? I'm not saying she can't have kids, but for Pete's sake!!! where is this woman's pride...or dignity? she likely knew it would be a news making story, and wanted 15 min of fame....at the expense of her children's futures. I agree with one thing you said...I disagree with the 'norms' of raising kids now too. If you spank your kid you get in trouble...what a load. I got plenty of whoopins...I learned not to do those things I got whoopins for...and I turned out pretty well

when you cannot support the ones you have, and you spend $100000 to have MORE? No this woman should not have kids. She needs some kind of treatment in the head. You might not be willing to say who should or should not have kids, but that is irrelevant. This woman knew she would not be able to provide a decent life for the six kids (by in vitro) she already had. Use some common sense people. We have enough children in crappy home lives...just how bad do you think these poor kids will have it????

I might be outta line here, but if the children will be raised using taxpayer money...WIC, Welfare, whatever...the mother should lose any and all rights to those children, as she has placed them in an unfit environment, knowing full well that she was on disability and not likely to fing another career to support the children. Yet, she spent something like $100,000 for having MORE kids? She has no means to support them, or herself without state aid. I don't live in CA, but I'd be pissed if I knew my hard earned pay was going to a woman like that. Even my sister realized it was time to get tubes tied after a third kid...and she works!

There is a way that the world works, I agree it ain't perfect, it could be a helluva lot more efficient...but this is the hand we are dealt in life. Be glad ya ain't starvin to death in some third world country and have the ABILITY to gripe about paying taxes. yeah...there was a similar post not too long ago about a smoking ban...who, exactly, has the right to tell another person where they can or cannot indulge in a LEGAL desire...without being a hypocrite?
