Is this wrong or is this I can not see anything wrong?
Would like to know the census. I will start off since its only fair. If someone shot you for game and skinned you and made a coat, I would not wear it. I promise you that. I have faith in the fact that when they kill the minks and/or fox that they do, they do it NOT just for their pelts but for food. I have thought about this a lot. My theory is that the homeless, the people on the streets, those we ignore... are the underground faction that kills and provides the demand of these expensive coats...but only to eat them. They don't even realize that the fur is more valuable. They toss out the pelts from gutters and sewers and alleys and then, all the sudden strolls and oppurtunist, you know the type. He sees the fur and because his mom can sew...next thing you know Nastasia has a mink stole In conclusion, If you want to wear a mink coat go ahead. |

I'm all for wearing fur if you want, but I definitely don't believe that some jackass pulls it out of the sewer.
No one would pay for it if it hadn't been freshly skinned and pressed and completely sewer free. |

 I love to get into the fur now and then,,,but have NEVER wanted to buy one......... lol No fur coats in any of my gift giving yet,,,so I think the wittle critters are safe from me.....

 I am sorry this made me laugh. I have to agree with Bell on this one though. I do not think some guy gets thefur from the side of the road. Me personally HATE the idea of a fur coat. Just the thought of a animal being killed for something other then food disturbs me. And i am really sorry, I do not think the homeless are feasting off of mink and foxes.

JMO I believe it's alright to kill any animal you choose, but that animal should be used for food and clothing, there should be no wasted part of that which is killed. I highly doubt that when they kill animals for fur coats that they use the rest for food, which is wrong. |

Ok, and thanks for your input but have you and Bell thought this all the way through? Just three words..."alligator boots". Now let me back up and tell you why I am convinced. It all started with the boots. I have heard tell of people who vacation down in florida and they buy these baby alligators because they are cute with their gapped teeth and, well infinite reasons. They bring them home and suddenly little gator bites little "jonathon marcus steward thoroughgood" on his ankle. Next, they actually flush it down the toilet. In the sewer it grows and grows bigger until the homeless eat if for meat and throw the skin out of the sewer. I have, literally, volumes on this research..that i have done. Well guess what alligators love to eat? BINGO, meat like beavers and mink. That explains what the mink and beaver are doing down in the sewer. |

well, who's to say that they, the killers of mink, fox, and , yes, even the mighty beaver, do not use them for food. I find it hard to believe that the old time trappers did not feast on beaver. Since they did not have Burger King back then, they had to eat something that was readily available. And there was alot of beaver!

um.. they have farms that raise aligators and crocidiles. they use the meat and sell the skins
