Are you patient enough to wait? And, to build something first?

Hmm, means exactly what it says. FREINDS before ANYTHING else.

Words do have meaning..specific meanings in fact. bigsmile

What's 2+2??? About the same complexity. drinker flowerforyou flowerforyou

It means if you are the right guy they will still do you on the first date.

I would like to be friends first but I am never that lucky.....

Every time a man has said this to me he has wanted sex included in our "friendship". I prefer to take things slow but also don't sleep with my friends!

To me, friendship first is a must. You must get to know someone first and decide to take it further only after a friendship has developed. Otherwise the world would be based on one night stands that will never benefit either party involved.True loves comes from true friendships.

LOL, oh I understand what you are saying there. Just goes to show you..MOST men don't even know 2+2.

And BOTH genders are losing "definitions" by the DAY! They have no clue of what words actually mean or that they actually have weight.

IQ's are already averaging in DOUBLE DIGITS!!! noway

So best advice...be really careful how you choose your FRIENDS! drinker bigsmile flowerforyou flowerforyou

But with time, your
"friendship" could be much more and that would be the time to make more of it.

I totally agree. I just hate the disappointment of having differing definitions.

Sorry! To me "friendship" is just that. Being able to talk and share with someone without muudying up the situation with sex. Wanting to know how one feels and what their opinions are. Really getting to know him/her so that when and IF it leads to more, you won't regret having made that move.

That's my definition as well.. just not what I am experiencing. For that reason I started thinking my definition was wrong.

Old fashioned thinking is the best. Be clear and be understood. That's the way I like it.
