If they had their internet service through the phone company maybe that
is how she still gets on with her cell phone maybe her computer is broke (don't know) just a thought |

they may have to read mail at the library, there are a lot of ppl with
no computer some ppl's may be in the shop!! |

Hummm not sure I do have a friend that access his accounts by his cell
phone all the time but he has a laptop also. But I don't do the e-mail thing off the site till I get to know them first follow your gut feeling is all I can say. |

my son has an account on mine but no longer lives here .... so he uses
his cell phone to get online although he is only 20. Lives alone with his dog so he has lots of bills. Maybe that is the case? |

I have never heard of over the phone e.mail. Then again I am in Canada
probably diffrent in the states. But yes like the rest said trust your gut. |

i got my first computer last month but have had email address 2+ yrs
verizon has internet access through certain phones but let me just say that it is a very time consuming way to check email etc. i am really enjoying my i-mac!! |

my cousin has a phone that access the internet, so yes it is possible to
access and email account over the cell phone which access the net.. the only part I don't understand is why ask for your phone number, that has nothing to do with checking email on the cell phone. |
