ABCD

BC is between AD;
AD....BC....AD;

Interesting how the first four letters of the english alphabet might provide a clue into a model of time other than the linear one taught today;

Yeah I know: huh

This is true - just because someone tells us it's so - how are we to know. It's like telling my kids, don't believe everything you hear or read. happy

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what you're saying here, but just getting nowhere. I know that BC stands for Before Christ, and AD stands for ... anno domini..?? Sorry, 30 years since CCD. But what does the placement of bc in between a and d have to do with anything?

Oh my gosh this is the funniest thing I ever heard,

is truth important in the real sense of the word, or do you mean just "truth" of the Bible. Because it seems like quite a few here cannot even come to terms with the age of the earth, or how plants and animals got here.

The run from truth like it is hells own fire.

Sorry. Seems coincidental to me... not sure what you think it means.

I do think it's possible that time is non-linear. We are quite limited by our senses.

but my abc's dont really bring a lot of new data to that idea...

sully...........

it's a facetious comment.

BC becomes BCE, as a form of PC.

AD becomes CE, as a form of PC.

But PC is not OT or NT, but SH.

But E won't fit with it, so PC requires wit.

See!! Even on painkillers- I ain't dumb.. Anno Domini means after the BIRTH of Christ.

Anno Domini. The Christian era in the Gregorian calendar, starting from the year ad 1 as the calculated and back-projected year in which Christ was believed to have been born. Widely used in western societies. The use of lower-case initials is often taken to indicate that the date has been calculated from a radiocarbon determination by subtracting 1950 from the radiocarbon age. The use of upper-case letters denotes a historical date or a calibrated radiocarbon age in calendar years.
