If you met a girl and were crazy about her, but she was a vegetarian and you were a meat and potatoes guy through and through-would you dump her or try to co-exist and give it a try...

What the heck.. give it a try.. just cause you like meat and she doesn't, doesn't mean a relationship can't work out or even friends for that matter.

Just curious because I think I'm slowly making that transition and wondering if I'll ever get a date again or whether this change would eliminate 90% of the guys?

That seems like a silly reason to dump a girl about whom you're "crazy".huh

But since it is usually women who prepare most the meals, they then have got to cook more; two dishes one w/ meat one w/o... that sort of thing. Too much, just eat meatrofl

give it a try. It's something that should be easily worked around in a relationship.

The question crossed my mind because one day I made a great dish that my ex wanted-until he found out that there was no meat in it! Then he went to a friends house for a barbecue...

If I was in love with the Lady I would never let her go and might even try to change my meat and potato ways.

My best friend is a vegan. Guys don't care that she is a vegan. They eat what they want to eat and she eats what she wants. It hasn't been a problem for her yet.
