Here's a big SCREW YOU to the guy who pretended to be a nice guy, said we'd go out to dinner tonight (his treat), agreed on where we'd meet, never set a time, ignored my last couple completely innocent and friendly attempts(instant message/email)of confirming if the date was still on, and IS HIDING NOW! There. I feel better.

feel your pain it has happened to me once and now i find it harder to trust others when possibly attempting to set something up in the future without really getting to know them... sorry that it happened to ya

feel your pain it has happened to me once and now i find it harder to trust others when possibly attempting to set something up in the future without really getting to know them... sorry that it happened to ya Know what? It's kind of reassuring to hear it's happened to others - makes it a little easier not to take 'personally', ya know? Still sucks, no denying it!

Sorry that happened, no one deserves that to say the least. It could be worse though, least you found this out about the guy now as opposed to later in the relationship.

I went through the same thing once, but I actually showed up at the place we were supposed to meet. Have never heard from this loser again, either, although he still has me listed as one of his top friends on one of my sites. Doesn't make sense!
