Are you kidding? PMS and access to the nuclear "football"...

I gotta tell you, both Obama and Palin are about as experienced and ideologically influenced as each other, with Biden and McCain being the standard forever and a day politicians.

I think both Republicrat candidates jeoporadize our National security.

In the whole United States?noway

Is there someone more qualified than McCain? Than Obama? Of course there is. And I am sure they are not politicians. My point was this whole topic is pretty pointless. You can't make them change who they picked.

No, we can't change who they picked.

But...we can vote.

Yea, but I like her stances and no VP pick is gonna change my vote based on what I think of the front runners.

It's deeper than that, there's a whole heckuva lot less threat that Obama is going to keel over in his sleep and we have a president Biden, With McCain though, thats not so certain. He's had some run in's with the lethal form of Melanoma and he's old enough now, that he might give himself an anuerysm trying to pass a stool.

That means we would be stuck with a President who, quite frankly, reminds me of something from the 30's & 40's era Germany.

Gosh, that was a horrible joke... Please, excuse my diddly attempt at humor... I fall short sometimes... plus, I don't want a beat down either!

Hell.. Snoop Doggy Dogg is probably more qualified than Palin. Or do people forget she majored in journalism? laugh

And on the not so funny note, if McCain by some weird happenings(thinks back to butterfly ballots) gets in.. and croaks over-ya know he isn't the healthiest guy to ever run, or the youngest- actually the oldest I believe. And a health history that anyone should be really worried about. He can't lift his arms above his head- he has to have some severe rheumatoid arthritis going on- to add to all the other stuff- well not to speculate, but he is old, and if he croaks over-
good ole' soccer mom will become President. Which is hardly a laughing matter.
No matter what anyone says- No one can believe she is able to run the country. That is unrealistic. And I am disappointed that anyone would support this choice. The Senior Repub. should of stopped him from doing that. This is our country geez. Are you kidding me with this? Set aside all the gossip and meaningless ridicule, she is not qualified to be in that position.
Gosh I heard numerous people say it sounded like a nightmare Disney movie coming to real life. And it does. Soccer mom is president. :/ This is not funny in the least. My daughter is going into the Military next year and I'm worried. :/
I might beg her not to go if McCain gets in to the White House.
jeez all mighty :/ :/

Cali,

You are so very right. That is what is so scary about all of this. McCain put our country in jeopardy with his choice of V.P. if he gets elected. He has the age and health issues and she will replace him. It is scary to think of her being the one to answer the red phone in the middle of night. Our world is too unstable for this to be happening.

coward.

PMS isn't always that bad.

Because I am extremely against socialized health care and would never vote for someone who so strongly supported it.

What if you end up losing your job due to the floundering economy and your child gets sick? Tough luck? Someday you may need it.

IF IF IF, that doesn't mean I support it. Socialized health care is horrible. Wait times are forever, you have to have "permission" to see a specialist. You don't get to pick you own drs. It is going to be more of a tax burden for worse coverage than I already have. My company has 10 years of backlogged work and they are a defense contractor that also works international. I think I have pretty good job security.

Seeing that defense was my dream job. I like how you are trying to attack me because of my chosen profession. People like me help keep our soldiers safe. Realistically, I don't think there will be world peace, the human race isn't a very peaceful race.

I don't think that will happen in the next 4 years. It is going to take years of hard work to fix Bush's mess.

And thank you for answering.flowerforyou

No. It doesn't. But...you said you didn't like Obama's health care plan. I doubt if it would if anything would take affect in the next four years. Any major health care change will take years to figure out. I think cleaning up Bush's mess will make it take even longer. JMO.

Glad you have job security. But what about the millions of people that do not? Bush has all but ignored the economy by making people think there are terrorist around every corner. He has been playing a "shell game" with the economy. A nation cannot be secure without a strong economy and ours is slipping very fast.

Don't believe the McCain/Palin ticket are ready or able to address the situation. It is about more than oil prices. It is about how many will lose their jobs and benefits.

If this is 'the reason' you might want to recheck his stand on healthcare. It is a choice, not a demand. It is a offer. People who don't have health coverage will be covered if they want to take it. It isn't universal health coverage in which you suggest. I have not seen this in the form you present it as. H. Clinton was the big push for Universal Health coverage. If you research through the Senate/Congress--what is going to floor, you would see what is going through the door and what isn't-- who is fighting for what and who isn't.
His big fight is for Children. Making sure children are all under a health plan. He has ALREADY been fighting for this for a long time.
McCain votes against this bill everytime it comes up. We have so many children without health coverage and that is just not right. While we spend so much money Per DAY fighting/funding a war- we can not insure our children?
What is wrong with that?

Not a time for laughter. Rather it is a time for serious concern for everyone in this country. Not simply for the rich or the poor....but everyone. We have lost our Sacred Vision of what this country was founded upon. Not a time for laughter, fingure pointing, or name calling. It is time for a leader that can bring us together. Living in Arizona I am keenly aware of McCain's actions. He is not concerned for the common person. And frankly that deeply concerns me.
