I like a LOT of metal, but Pantera is my favorite. The best metal musicians, for some reason, seem to be fans of old-school country (I do a lot of reading up on these guys).
I didn't even like metal until I was about 40. |

I didn't even like metal until I was about 40. Yeah, I miss Dimebag.....he was shot only a day or two after Damageplan played here in CT....... NOBODY had as much fun playing a guitar as Dimebag did. It still makes me sad and pissed.....

I didn't go see DamagePlan because the venue they were playing at had screwed me at the last minute out of opening for Hank Williams III a few months earlier......and, of course I'm kicking myself now - I thought I'd catch them somewhere else on their second tour or something....... I love all kinds or rock! I hate all the sub genre names for the music though.
Ive been to tons of concerts, Ozzfests, and Family values a few time but MAYHEM was the greatest metal fest I have ever been to. right now Im looking forward to seeing mudvayne and snot next month |
