Do views of dating for woman approaching 40s change becoming serious in nature to find the ONE...., or does it become the Sister Hood of the roaming Cougars.

Yikes, how sexist is THAT! Women of all ages date for the same reason, fun, companionship, sex, love, rock and roll, boredom, whatever.

I don't think our views change as much as our maturity level, and realizing what really important. We change how we look at things. We learn what is really important when looking for someone in our lives. We don't all want sex, love and rock and roll. We just want a man to treat us like he wants to be treated. For me, if a man treats me like a queen, he gets treated like a king. Ya know.

Considering I haven't had to date in a very long time and I am approaching 40 next year......I will say..........

I have no motives really other than to find a great guy to do things with. I'm not looking to get married (been there, done that), but wouldn't rule out the possibility eventually. I'm also not looking to roam around and have random sex with strangers.

I think there's a subset of women out there who have had long marriages and suddenly find themselves in the dating world again. It's no fun I tell ya, trying to figure out how this all works again.

Me too. But it doesn't bother me much. The gray hairs that I see daily are starting to pish me off though

I feel ya. I feel so much older within the past few months though. I have been through a lot though in a short time. I guess it is catching up with me.

I think people way over think the age deal. I date a woman 20 years younger than me. Will it last? No, but thats ok. If I meet a woman 20 years older and we click then thats fine to.
