Okay, yeah, if you couldn't tell from my picture, I am a Boise State Bronco Fan. Save your comments about how they could never compete in the SEC, or beat Texas, blah blah blah. They beat Oklahoma in a bowl game that Boise State controlled for the ENTIRE game. Anyhow, Florida and Oklahoma? Maybe Florida and Texas. What are your thoughts?

Boise State and Utah will finished undefeated. College blows for that reason. Your not even in a bcs game and Ohio State is and they lost two games. Unfair bullcrap

How many college teams can say that they have had undefeated regular seasons 3 of the last 5 years? Yeah, Boise State is in a pretty weak conference, but you can only play the opponent that is put in front of you. And they just happen to win them all.

i think that there should be a playoff system...but even then, you would have to devise a way where you could pick the teams fairly.....because no matter how you do it there are gonna be teams that will be snubbed....such as Boise State

Each conference should have there own playoff system and the winner of that faces the winner of the adjacent conference untill there is only two teams left and they play for the national championship or they could use the nfl system but make it adjustable for the BCS.

Boise is a good football team but like u said thier schedule is not good at all....thats one reason why.....yes i bet they could beat and compete with teams from big 10 12 sec and acc.......i am a big ohio state fan lol.....honestly i wanted Penn State to go to the Nat Champ......but ya if boise got in a diff conference and played good teams and they could beat them i think...they would have a better chance

i like the conferences having their own playoff system...except that it would take a long time to have several playoffs....and how would you determine what conference plays what?? i mean, you wouldn't put a WAC team up against the SEC or Big 12....every answer just seems to lead to more questions

Boise State has a really good shot at winning their bowl game. If their offence is executed well, then they will win.

Utah is gonna get rolled. They are playing not only a bigger, faster, stronger team, but Alabama is pissed off too.

Well, I am a Bama fan, and I feel that while Bama is pissed off, Utah is gonna want to come in and show they belong. Hence, I feel it is gonna be a better game than most expect. Don't get me wrong. I want Bama to beat Utah by 30.bigsmile Just saying, I think it will be a better game than most expect.

Now, on to the BCS. Technically, if you look at the system, it does work. It has been working since it was designed. The sole purpose of the BCS system is to put the number 1 team and number 2 team (that the system ranks) into the Championship game. That's all it was meant to do. And, it did that this year as Oklahoma was #1 and Florida was #2. However, how it got to those rankings is what has caused the most controversy.

Texas has to be pissed cause they beat Oklahoma, lost to Texas Tech on a last play miracle, and are now playing Ohio State in the Fiesta bowl. I know Tressle at OSU is saying that he is excited to play Texas, but deep down he knows his team is probably gonna get killed by the Longhorns. Nobody, not another team out there, is as pissed as Texas. And, I don't blame them. Anyways, the sole reason Texas got passed by Florida was that Florida beat Alabama in the SEC Championship game. Bama was #1, undefeated, and Florida beat them. Thus, Florida as the SEC Champion jumped over Texas.

I like Boise State. They have one of the best programs going, and have continued to win even when they lose their head coaches. Yeah, they play in a weak conference, but this program still wins consistently. Utah and Boise were both not gonna get BCS invites, and Utah was the higher ranked team in the computers. Hence, Boise gets left out. Is it fair? Hell No! But this is the system we have.

Yeah, we need a playoff, but we have been screaming for one for over 20 years now. The bowls generate way too much money for the NCAA, and as long as people validate that, we will never see a playoff system in Division I.

Why not put a WAC team up against a SEC OR Big 12 OR Big 10 team. Your trying to find out who is the best in the conutry this way we find out. Evey year you get a number of teams who say they should be in a blow game or the national championship game for this or that reason. Well i say let them prove their selfs and see how good they really are.As for it taking a long time for a playoff system well the longer the better i say who doesnt love watching college football.

As for the money that the NCAA gets from the bowl games it could also go towards a playoff system. If you take the sponsors from the bowl games and have them sponsor a playoff game that is at netural locations such as NFL stadiums it would bring in more fans and more money for the NCAA and also since there will be more games due to a playoff system you could bring in more sponsors which means more money for the NCAA.

i am not saying that they shouldn't play each other...i am just saying that the WAC or SunBelt conferences for example should play OTHER conferences like them FIRST....such as a Wildcard game in the NFL to decide who can hang tough with the bigger conferences
