This one should be fun.. Yesterday, I loaded the dishwasher, and i realized i didn't have any detergent...So....being the ever so brilliant person i am, i improvised..using about half the amount of dish washing liquid. (don't try this at home, folks) This is great motivation for mopping the floor.  Yes, i am so cool... lol, so what are some of your blunders/goofs? Come on people, fess up!

My now ex hubby and I did that to his mom's dishwasher. It wasn't funny then, but sure is now.

Instead of washing my sheets weekly...I sleep on the other side of my bed for a week. Can get 2 weeks of clean sheets that way!

i waxed the kitchen floor with car wax once. left a real nice shine and spills beaded right up. the problem was walking on it wearing socks...lol

No milk used coffee creamer. Somehow Irish cream Beef Stroganoff doesn't taste the same.

Mark, I did almost the same thing only in my case it was the washing machine and I used a bar of soap! Another no-no! Clothes smelled clean, but so did everything else outside of the washer!

 i used body wash in my dishwasher one time...the floor smelled so good i was seriously considering asking it out...be seeing you

I put a big bottle of Mr. Bubble in a jaccuzzi just being funny. I didn't expect how much foam it actually made and contaminated the near by swimming pool with a thick blanket of foam that completely enveloped the jaccuzzi and corner of the garden it sat in. Needless to say I was not about to fess up for that one to the homeowner. What was even funnier was the homeowner falling in the pool. Could see the edge of it I guess...

I cant believe im telling you all this...
but here goes.  I wanted to wear this top that needed a strapless bra, and didnt have one... so I used duct tape, and taped my nipples down with it, so they wouldnt show. It worked great, till it was time to take it off, (that is after dancing all night long, and sweating, and it melting to me)  . OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH!   Kids... dont ever try this at home.

Had trouble starting a pickup, and cranked it a bit too long, not realizing that the timing key had sheared on the distributor post. When it was 180 degrees out of time, the plugs fired with the valves open. The exhaust system was full of gas vapors. The explosion split the muffler open. Shook the house fairly well. Dad and I just looked at each other, wondering if we were alive. "Don't do that anymore," he said. |

tried to make macaroni and cheese(the cheap kind) from the box,had no milk,or butter so made it dry with just the powder cheese uggg talk about gross

The little hose that takes windshield cleaner from it's holder to the sprayer on my car windshield split open. Trying to avoid the hassle of getting it fixed, I used a drinking straw and duct tape to try and fix it myself. Inserted both ends of the hose into the straw and taped it together. Worked for 2 days.
