I'd take either of them. There is a family that has a golden retriever that they walk past my house everyday. Just want to stop them for a change to pet him. There is always someone walking a dog or two here, when the weather is nice I sit on my front deck with a hope of them stopping by so I can pet them. |

Valentine’s Day - Bah-Humbug!!! Hear I sit waiting for another day to come and go. Seems like there are a lot of those lately. I just started the dating sites in October, 2008 and before I did, I was quite happy with my life. I stay busy. I finally like who I am. I am losing weight. What more could a gal want?? Well, after dipping my toes in and “going for it” I started to date. Yeah me! It lasted longer than I thought it would, but has been over for about a month now. For the first time in many, many years I actually feel lonely. Not a good feeling. I value my alone time and am not a social butterfly, but I do try. I am trying to get back where I was before, when I was alone and not lonely. I will get to that point again!! But boy trying to get my mind off it and back to that point is a real pain in the backside. So, my fellow friends, I wish you all a Very Happy Valentine’s Day and tomorrow it is suppose to rain all day so I have a legitimate excuse to hide in bed all day under the covers!!!!  Same here! Let me get back to the life that I had. I was happy by myself. Now all I have is hurt and pain. I want more for my life but, the next time it is going have to find me. I am going to hide from any fella that wants to get to know me. They are going to have to work real hard to get me to open up my heart again. At this point I just stapled it close and it is healing slowly. As of today, I am putting one foot in front of the other and go on with my life. I refuse to sit at home and pout. The world is waiting for me and I am going to take my share. Watch out world here I come to get my life back on track!
