Are you put of by profile pics of people cuddling kids or with an affectionate member of the opposite sex in the same photo who may not be a relative?

Eh... I just figure it is a photograph. It takes more than something like that to get to me. Now if it was a photo of someone beating a child or doing something foul... then I'd have an issue with it.

Life is too short to let petty miscellaneous things like other people in a photo.

Nope I don't have issues with what others post within their pictures. And don't see what the big deal about it is pictures are part of ones lives. Are we not here to get to know the other person?

Hummmmmmmmm by the way do you not have one up hugging a child?whoa

put off isn't he right word, but I think it's foolish.
why post a pic of you with a man/woman on a dating site?
why post a pic of you and your kids? while the kids could be cute, I'm not looking to date them, also the same goes for the ones who post their pets

Friends and children are part of our lives and I see no reason not to have pictures up if you want to, but stress that the person in the picture is not a current/former partner.

many like myself consider this not just "a dating site". we may put up pictures where we seek to express who we are and what we care about rather than have a tunnel vision desire to attract a mate. i love my dog tongue2 .

i'm sorry you consider this foolish flowerforyou

Stressing that other persons involved in the pics are not current or recent partners etc is a good thing.

Unless they got thier tongue in someone elses mouth...I am good.

Gotta look at the positive side of seeing thier kids...

You know right off the bat if they make ugly children and if you would be willing to risk having an ugly kid just to be with that person.

The pics I have with friends in them on here are friends FROM here. Others I would ask if I could post their pic, if I can post it, only if I came out really good in it. I had a picture of my daughter on here but guys emailed me asking about her...she's 16 and they were in their 30's!mad

Many of us have been on here a couple years. We've made friends and might now be in relationships. My friends might be curious about my family, etc. just as I am curious about theirs. Some of us have gotten married. We post in the forums. We don't leave just because we found someone. We consider many on here good friends.

I hate to admit that I just put pictures with my boyfriend on here. I get tired of guys not reading your profile that says you are taken or only looking for friends. When I put a picture up with both of us or keep it to the top line in the profile it cuts down on the requests. As long as you have enough photos on your profile to determine who you are I don't see what the big deal is.bigsmile

I agree here. The point is you are on a dating site even if your here to meet friends or make friends. Save the "at home and personal photos for e mails, IM's. etc. Besides how many have other friends of the same sex in them ? And how do tell which is the one you might want to make contact with.? Besides how do you actually , really know the people on this site or any other site for that matter. ( outside of the people you have come to know?).. Have you ever considered the fools that are out there just looking maybe stalking? sure I may sound paranoid. But I have been stalked , its not funny in the least

I think that it's great that you've made so many friends here, found a man here, and are using this as a place to keep in touch, and this isn't a put down, but if you want to turn it into a social site for yourself fine, but don't say I am the one who doesn't get it.
You should know that when men see your profile here they think that you're looking for a date because it is a dating site

if it was me I'd let the friendships, and relationships evolve by taking them to facebook or a similar social site, I would stick to using this as a dating site.
