WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration will propose $60 billion in new tax increases over 10 years on wealthy estates, businesses and others to make up for shortfalls in its fund to pay for an expensive overhaul of the health-care system.

Officials said that upon further analysis they realized that they had overestimated savings and tax increases proposed in February to help pay the bill........

The FED caused inflation and depression, drove up the profit bubble and wages to "compensate" for it. They then burst it! Now they want the people to pay for their arrogance.

The whole tax thing is a scam, a power play, more enslavement to a non-working, corrupt political and corporate agenda.

When will we say ENOUGH!?

the more I read and research the more I find that I am being taxed and no I am not in the 250K/yr bracket. (for examples)

cigarettes
insurance
state and local increases - ie, licenses, tags, etc.
property taxes
cutting of local programs - which in fact were supposed to increase

When will I feel stimulated?

We used to have;
Prohibition
women did not posses the "vote"
slavery
etc.

"used to be" is not a good reason

I still say this is a better alternative worthy of a read and research.

It is a step in a NEW direction, not back or forward in any we have tried.

That's an awful broad and misleading thought.

Who's to say what is your States fault, or if any of the increases on your list were pre-planned (pre-Obama) and inevitable?

Id say we at least go back to pre-Bush and the 1.6 trillion dollar tax-cuts he gave to the wealthiest Americans during his first 100 days.

They sure didnt trickle down or create jobs.
