It is what it is - it seems that today being gay or bi is like getting a tattoo was a few years ago.

Remember once upon a time everyone thought a mullet was cool too

I tend to agree with this. Being Bi is now the "in" thing to do. More and more people are wanting to try this out. Just another example of people being afraid to make a decision and stand by it....laugh

and don't get me started on bi's ill
make your mind up, stop being greedy and i for one don't want somethin thats been dipped in diffrent pies!rant

I have no problem with gays/lesbians. It looks pretty interesting to me. Im sure for many thousands of years, bi-sexuality was the normal state of affairs. Spartans? Romans? I feel sad when I hear people condemning them to hell. What is so gosh darn terrible about a loving, committed relationship between two people of the same gender? Ive never understood the aversion to it. huh Is it better to be in a horrible, abusive heterosexual relationship?

There is no comparison between fades and being gay!

Thanks for clearing that up, I can't believe it was even said.flowerforyou

It was an actual question. I was asking, as I don't know anyone who is faking being gay. I know some who aren't sure about how they feel, however I wouldn't call it faking.

I hope I shed some light upon what I meant initially -

Some are faking some arent - being you is far more important than what anyone else thinks.

At the end of the day it is you and the face in the mirror that you have to live with

Your straight I take it, because you can not fake being gay, and a gay person will know if you are faking it believe me, I have dated straight women, and I knew they were straight and curious. Not my cup of tea, experiment with others that are doing the same, is what I told them.

People will find what works best for them and what makes them happy, don't particularly understand why you are seemingly so concerned with fakes, because if you are gay you can tell a fake a mile away and they are rare.

THese people that you say are faking it.. how do you know? Are you just guessing?

I have a few examples in my own personal life that I have seen people that I know that are faking it. In one case I know of a young lady that is unfortunately going to be very hurt when she finds out that her new girlfriend is just with her to make the previous boyfriend insane.

then I also know of another couple that are true and will do just fine. It really is a case by case thing and you NEED details to make a blanket statement like that about someone.

Ok well now this one makes sense, but very few do this in reality. I have known gay women that strictly date straight woman, which I find very strange because they always end up hurt. And personally any gay or straight that would use someone to get back at a boy friend or girl friend is not someone that can be trusted, period. And immature to be sure.

I bet he is talking more about the fad these days to be "heteroflexible" or bi.

I'm supportive of the GLBT communities. If it is truly you - that's great.

Fads? Meh. Not so much support from me for those.

Thanks for the help but I am very adept at putting my own feet in my mouth here is another example

WHY IS IT....

That Gay women are known for hating men
YET
Gay men are known for loving women

Gay women are not 'KNOWN' for hating men. Some do but I would say most do not hate men.

There are some gay men that are intolerant of gay women, I have known a few, they are even more condesending toward women that some straight men. That's just the way it is. People are people and they all have one hang up or another...
