I had an Advanta business charge card. They closed all their cards down.
They said that the funding for the credit was cancelledhuh. They said that they were sorry but there was nothing they could do.
I am lucky that I have another card, but the poor guy how does't......

With interest rates so low you might as well keep your cash in a shoe box.

$15 is a cheeky charge though. Id think about going to a new bank because of the audacity. I dont see how it matters to the bank of you have 10 dollars or 100 dollars in there. Its a tiny amount of cash, especially in banking terms. Its just another excuse to charge you.

If you only had 10 dollars in there, and then they take 15, would they then charge you for being overdrawn?

yes Dan they do.

Imgaine that then they charge you every day till there is money in there.

the banks cannot make any mokley of credit cards so they are hitting everone with fees.

FAith in the USA they have to tell you why they closed it.

I think I am going to keep my money in my mattress. LOL

Wha? What kind of sorry a$$ bank do you keep your money in? I remember about 15 years ago there would be a charge for having below a minimum balance (usually $100). But I thought banks had moved past that. Any bank I've been with in the past 10 years was happy if they had one dollar of mine.

Just play the game, babe...but be SMARTER than they are. That's the best you can do if you don't want to keep your money under the mattress.

I do it the smartest way that's still gone unmentioned as of yet....I don't use a bank at all. I use a credit union.
