Actor David Carradine (of Kung Fu fame) ok and other stuff too – dead. Original reports suspected suicide. I found that very hard to believe, HOWEVER, it is known that the greatest percentage of suicides are found in men in later life. But still, Carradine was far too self-confirming and throughout his rather public life he did show tendencies toward- shall we say-experiments?

I don't even know how to respond to this. I heard about it a couple of years ago but not in any great detail. Don't understand how one can be turned on by that, or any pain for that matter. Or where someone first learns to associate pain with pleasure.

Not going to judge it, but sure can't relate to it.

it's not about pain, although pain can be very erotic. it's about shutting off the flow of oxygen to the brain, providing a very intense...almost high that intensifies the physical sensations.

Seriously, I was really bumbed out about his death. I did find it odd, however, how many women had something to say about it. Past 'women' lawyers, employees and so on - mostly ademently denying that he was into that. maybe he really didn't need viagra.

I suspect foul play in there somewhere. My first thought, however, was that he may have been experiencing effects of aging, like demensia or maybe had a recent diagnosis of some disorder that made him take his life. We may never know. I guess I was just wondering if anyone else would have associated autoerotic asphyxiation with him.

The lead singer of INXS supposedly died that way too.

Many years ago a couple in the area were participating in it and she ended up dying. I think he was initially charged with murder but it didn't stick.

Today they are saying he had his jewels tied, his hands tied, and the noose around his neck. I guess those older guys have to try harder.
I can't imagine how embarrassing it is for the family. For him, though, I wonder as he died if he thought...."I'm so mortified going like this!!" I know, bad humour!!!!
