A rose shrowded in barbed wire has been my symbol since late in high school to early college, and I've drawn many of them, including the one tatted on my arm. Though I feel more like a thistle most days, better description but harder to draw.

I **** at poetry

My heart has gotten rather numb. Been alone too long I guess. They say after a break up, you need to find yourself before getting involved again. If you meet someone quickly after a break up, it may not be a good idea. But, if you wait too long, you forget how to BE in a relationship. I think I've become kinda clueless.

I'm kind of in that place too. Although one of my patients told me once that it takes about 10 years to find and be with someone that's compatible after a divorce. I think that's an awfully long time to be alone. I'm 1/4 of the way there I guess.....

It will take quite alot to get thru all protective layers that have been built up
