what this women did was for any reason you choose, wrong.
justice was let down by incorrect charges being brought. ie a mistake.
she needs to be tried for correct charges what ever they may be.
altho there is an arguement that she didnt realy do anything other than cyber bullying, wich i`d be suprised if there is a law against.
i say hunt her down and skin her pitchfork

I don't let my child on the puter unless I can keep an eye on him. When I'm not on it, I've got it locked an he doesn't know my password. Too bad more parents don't do this. ohwell
 well said. you are (obviously) a good parent. Too many parents are loons. be seeing you

The bottom line. You cannot charge someone for another persons suicide. Suicide = killing yourself. Murder = killing someone else. The girls parents should have paid more attention as to what was going on in their childs life. Most parents don't do that and when something happens they want to blame someone else. Better parenting could have prevented this. be seeing you.

It's different when it involves an adult and a minor.

Better parenting would not have changed it. The bully mom was making sure that the rumors spread around at school too.

Rumors have spread around schools long before The Internet. It's not a criminal act. be seeing you

Classic example of why kids should not be on Myspace.

But...it changes things when an adult maliciously does it.

It certainly does.....another example of a parent trying to be more of a friend than a parent, IMO. She was too busy snooping around and trying to make her child come out on top, than she was trying to diffuse the situation. Sickens me what people will do to kids, while trying to "help" their own.

That's when the child's parent if they had known, should've gone to the Mom an threatened to beat her to a bloody pulp. I've gone to parents an intervened on behalf of my kids. They didn't know what was goin on an made sure it stopped. Thankfully I live in a small town where everyone purty much everyone an parents will talk to one another.

Bullying in any instance is wrong, and that stupid mother took it took the most extreme level which resulted in the death of a girl. She should be punished for that. rant
