Most people can't wait to graduate high school, it's a big day and relief is in the air, but looking back now, which is worse, school or work life?

Didnt mean to sound pompous, but just saying, I was tortured in highschool and didn't do well academically because I just didn't try, to busy trying to cope with it all.

school was worse
people can lose their jobs for fighting at work. and people don't go out of their way to make other people miserable.

I had a pretty good time in school. But, I've also had a fun adult life. If I could pick anytime in my life to re-live it would be my 30s. However, this time I'd want to be single.

I only had 1 year of highschool, but I actually liked it. didn't have to try hard to get a passing grade, girls actually responded when I said hi, and it was easy to make friends. I dealt with a lota crap at school, but overall it just beats the **** outa my work life

work...get paid ****, get treated like ****, feel trapped because you know if you quit your job, you lose your security as well as the roof over your head. I wish it was easier to get a better job, even if the pay sux I'd be cool with working in a place I don't actually mind being at for 8 hours a day if I get that

I had no graduation/gradnight/prom..so looking back, I wish I had those experiences

I had a lot of friends and would go back. Of course, there are things I would do differently to make the absolute most of every situation, but I wouldn't mind an opportunity to do it again, especially if I could take the knowledge I have now with me.

actually I had a lot of fun in school and in work....
each have had their challenging moments, but also many
very rewarding moments...

somehow i remember the good times and have actually
forgotten most of the bad times....

I have good memories of high school, had a lot of friends, was a cheerleader, good student. And I always had decent jobs that I enjoyed.. And I still have friends from high school that we get together and have fun or give support to each other if needed.. I consider myself very lucky! flowerforyou

School was less responsibility of course. However we moved several times and each time I got into a click and liked a few teachers, made at least 1 great friend,we would move so it was not easy for me but Life Happens.Because of family life I left school at 16,finished 10th grade. I didn't go back to graduate till I was 22.O nly reason was I wanted to go to college and had to be a high scholl grad,so bieng a mom I took night classes. When I went to college I loved learning, enjoyed most of my classes, even though I had responsibilities elsewhere. I still love to learn, funny but I could have cared less back as a kid about anything other than, vocal lessons, singing, horses and sneaking in the garage to choke on a cig..

Same hoops different reward.

School......jump through the appropriate hoops and get fed housed and clothed.

Work......jump through the appropriate hoops and you are given money to get fed housed and clothed.

bigsmile

(how was that for a humble, meek first post on parole?)rofl

look at them both as experiences that have made you who u r, let tell you a little bit i went to boarding school but as if that wasn't bad enough i went to boarding school in Africa now i am lucky i came from a wealthy home and went to the good school but even with that life in boarding school sucks but i would do it allover again, we were cained we ate shitty food(excuse my language) it was just like jail only we were paying to be there...but some of the best memories and best friends were made in those hard days....work life is cool and i enjoy it but think back a little and remember those day when u were in school u had fewer worries and lots of time....both are fazes in ur life that u should love
