So was sitting out on the porch today when I hear a frog scream. I go hunting knowing that there's a snake that's got it and I want to know what kind. A ribbon snake (like a garter but small) has caught this frog by its thigh. Shake. My head and pick up the snake till it drops the frog. They both go their separate ways.

If it had been a water or rat snake I'd have taken it to the woods and turned it looSe.

You are disrupting the nature. The poor snake probably haven't eaten for days or even weeks and he gets one successful meal that's gonna fill him for a week and you go and take that away from him.

Would you like to have a giant come and throw out all the food from your freezer? They were all living things once.

Aww it was just a small one.

Snakes are cool. But I like my frogs and toads more.

Life's a B•••ch. I'm not gonna risk the little dogs for a snake that can't catch a proper meal and goes for something too big. Besides I've seen this specific snake before. So its doing well for itself.

You know I know it's wrong to interfere with nature but I would have done the same thing.. If I did those animal kingdom films, I'd always be saving something.. wrong or not I couldn't watch it...

Will you put your pic back up? I miss that handsome face...

I don't think that's the point hun, the point is knowing that something is losing it's life...

in the 60s batman upset the hippies by using shark repellant spray

but as this chart (from a very reputable source...simpsons) shows, he was not disrupting the food chain as all animals are just here to feed mankind. laugh
