Works for me. Wouldn't it be fun to be that carefree again?

I personally don't know any rules about dating. Men might think I'm a little crazy, but I'm upfront and honest from the get-go. If I get an email from a guy here, and his profile says he wants kids, I just respond with "I'm not the one for you". I won't beat around the bush. As far as dating goes, Iakm confused about that too. Thought the guy was the one that was supposed to run from commiment, not cling to a woman and ask them to get married after two weeks!

That seems to change as they get older, according to my girl friends. But any guy that asks you to marry him after two weeks, I would run if I were you.

So you just tell them you are crazy from the start. Boy that would have saved me so much time in the past............smokin

I always tell a woman when I first meet her that I'm not interested in any kind of mutually exclusive relationship. I tell her I don't have time for it. If she want to have sex I may be interested, but nothing more.

It doesn't help. They still want me to commit to something after a few weeks.

I don't believe in "rules" about that sort of thing. it really depends on the individual. One time on a first date, the woman came out of the door when I first arrived and looked me right in the eye and the first words out of her mouth was "I'm looking for a serious relationship."

We were together for nearly 3 years.

At what point to you lay your cards out on the table about what you are looking for (casual or long term.. kids or no kids).. I know you dont on the 1st few dates but I dont want to play games and waste anyones time..

Why not on the first few dates? Are you scared you're going to scare they guy away? You would only be scaring someone away that you are not compatible with. If he's not interested in what you are, why would you want to waste each other's time?

Here are the rules of dating:

Be on time.

Dress appropriately for the activity planned.

If you want to call, call. Don't stalk.

Communicate wants and needs, slowly over the course of getting to know them.

Use condoms.

Go slow. If something seems to good to be true, IT IS.

No, they usually lie in a self-serving manner, drink too much, have sex, and then never call again. Or they just lie and get no sex.
