This is A TRUE STORY ......
My name is Chris, I am three, My eyes are swollen. I cannot see. I must be stupid, I must be bad, What else could have made, My daddy so mad? I wish I were better, I wish I weren't ugly, Then maybe my mommy, Would still want to hug me. I can't do a wrong, I can't speak at all, Or else I'm locked up, All day long. When I'm awake, I'm all alone, The house is dark, My folks aren't home. When my mommy does come home, I'll try and be nice, So maybe I'll just get, One whipping tonight. I just heard a car, My daddy is back, From Charlie's bar I hear him curse, My name is called, I press myself, Against the wall. I try to hide, From his evil eyes, I'm so afraid now, I'm starting to cry. He finds me weeping, Calls me ugly words, He says its my fault, He suffers at work. He slaps and hits me, And yells at me more, I finally get free, And run to the door. He's already locked it, And I start to bawl, He takes me and throws me, Against the hard wall. I fall to the floor, With my bones nearly broken, And my daddy continues, With more bad words spoken. 'I'm sorry!', I scream, But it's now much to late, His face has been twisted, Into a unimaginable shape. The hurt and the pain, Again and again, O please God, have mercy! O please let it end! And he finally stops, And heads for the door, While I lay there motionless, Sprawled on the floor. My name is Chris, I am three, Tonight my daddy, Murdered me. And you can help, Sickens me to the soul, If you read this, and don't pass it on. I pray for your forgiveness, You would have to be, One heartless person, Not to be affected, By this Poem. And because you ARE affected, Do something about it! So all I ask you to do, Is post here IF YOU ARE AGAINST CHILD ABUSE!   |

 People like him (men or women) don't deserve to live when they abuse a child like that. Someday the same thing is going to happen to him or anyone else that does that.

yes, I too am against any kind of abuse towards anyone, especially children.. I was verbally abused by my mother when very young and could never do anything right in her eyes...

Yet another indicator that before a couple have a BABY, they should get a small, yippy dog.
...or maybe a big, messy one, and keep it in the house. If they find themselves abusing the dog... THEN FOR NO REASON SHOULD THEY HAVE CHILDREN! I think this is excellent advice which, of course, will largely be ignored. As discussed with another mingler, marriage AND parenthood is often expected in the "Bible Belt" (much of the southeastern USA). Unfortunately, it seems likely that some of these people are simply not well suited for neither MARRIAGE, nor PARENTHOOD. And then, the sad, sad tale unfolds... This sociological phenomena can be present in other areas of the country, and certainly the world... ...and the children produced may suffer for it.

Ummmmm.....the abusers don't actually realize that they are abusers. I got the crap beat out of me as a kid. But, to the ones who did it, there was absolutely nothing wrong with what they were doing. To this day, they refuse to accept that what they did to my brother and I was wrong. Making people get a dog before they have kids?? That would be utterly pointless. If they don't KNOW or recognize that certain treatment isn't right, getting a dog isn't going to suddenly open their eyes. |

There are two huge problems: Parents abusing their children and this run on perverted weirdos abducting little ones and using and disposing of them like they're dolls from Walmart.
Also, I'm not crazy at all about the idea of practicing or testing one's anger management on a puppy. We're tested and/or need a license before we can drive a car, get married, go fishing, buy a gun but we can breed like rabbits and there's no prerequisites. |
