I guess I'm suppose to say I'm new since everyone else has. This is almost like playing follow the leader(or is it simon says?). Simon says say hi. Anybody ever wonder who this simon is and why we listened to him as kids? This just got weird. I'm done.

Simon says originated from latin, the latin version was ,"Cicero dicit fac hoc" this means Cicero says do this. Cicero of course being the famous ancient philosopher, statesman, lawyer, political theorist, and Roman constitutionalist.

See, now if someone had told me I was listening to a dead guy when I was six, that would have traumatized me for life.

You think THATS creepy?

The tradition behind the game may trace back to the year 1264, when Simon de Montfort captured King Henry III at the English town of Lewes. For the next year, any order Henry III gave could have been countermanded by de Montfort. The situation came to an end the following year when Henry's son Prince Edward took Simon's castle by force and used his flags as a means to surprise Simon's forces in 1265.

'Simon Says' is also a rumored mythological presence within the City of Leicester dating back to the 14th Century. The Youngest son of the 6th Earl of Leicester Richard De Montfort, Steven de Montfort, became trapped within a closet in Leicester Castle after being told to stay in there as a punishment. The child, suffered from a form of epilepsy and consequently died. Some households within Leicester (specifically homes surrounding the Castle), as investigated by the Living TV Show Most Haunted, were said to have paranormal activity in connection with a child spirit.

Is Ashton Kutcher going to jump out from under my couch now and yell "You just got shrugged". Seemed a lot funnier in my head.
