Not a hunter anymore but some of my best memories growing up were rabbit and grouse hunting with my Dad..... awwww. you killed a wittle wabbit?? Little? That sucker was huge! and mm mm mm what a mighty tasety stew he made My mama used to put a couple in the crockpot with some onions and cream of mushroom soup. Let cook all day. Plus fried wabbit... Yummy... cool man how come you dont hunt anymore? When my Dad got sick it just wasn't fun anymore...... ahhh I hear ya man prayers and blessing to your dad. That's been many years ago brother. It was fun rabbit hunting. We always had some really good beagles. They were amazing. They would let out a yelp when the rabbit was coming across your path. Oh sweet! I never used dogs before. I have had friends that raised pups to be great hunting dogs though.

Haven't hunted before but I plan on trying it out this deer season.

dove season starts in a couple of days I got a box of 12 gauge shells and a case of beer

Anybody still hunt possum or coon? Used to do alot of it as a youngun with my cousins. 4wheeler, shotgun, spot light an dogs. That was a good time. Then would have a good meal the next evenin

I have hunted rabbit, pheasant, deer, turkey, and coon when I lived in Ohio. I have a Horten Hunter 150lb cross bow I use when deer hunting and have even taken a turkey with it, Im in Florida now and the deer are no bigger than a dog so dont hunt them here. I have taken two boar hogs and last year went on my first gator hunt. I am gonna try and make it north this year for deer season!!!

Partridge, or grouse, woodcock, up in the U.P. I meet my brother up there every year in October. We stay in a deer camp that has been in our family for 70yrs. No electricity, no phone, no cell phone reception, no running water. Every time I'm there, I think it is the happiest I've been for the entire year.
