Something just occured to me. I'm the only female postin in a thread about huntin. I can't possibly be the only female that enjoys huntinohwell

I would say that females that hunt are hot, but then this might get moved to the Intimacy/Sex forum.

But they are.

I grew up a tomboy. I ran around with a herd of male cousins out on the grandparents farm on the weekends. And a herd full of neighborhood boys durin the week cause I was one of the only gurls for blocks around. So, I naturally grew up huntin also.

I remember one time, a group of us cousins were out at lil mama an papaw's farm sittin at the supper table eattin spagetti. My one cousin starts talkin bout guttin a deer in great detail. The other 2 female cousins sittin at the table jumped up, gaggin, runnin out of the room. I'm still sittin there shovelin spagetti in my mouth wonderin what the heck their malfunction was. shades

No your no the only lady that hunts...I hunt, fish and am even a licensed prospector way up here in NW Ontario...Have ran a few trap lines over the winters and even have a cabin waaaay out in the bush.....The last 15 drivable miles to get to it is a little "chicken road" and then you have to go by canoe, portage and then go by canoe again to get to it...Gotta hunt if you want to eat out there...winking

I used to go hunting allot. I haven't in about four years, although I still fish.

When I did hunt it was in Stevens Point, WI. and Various parts of Pa. -Glenrock.

I would hunt Goose, squirrel, and white tail mostly. I used a 30-06 180 grain and 220 grain shots.. I also hunted with a browning 12 gauge for the smaller animals and a bow from time to time as well. I always ate what I shot and most of the time used the skins and some of the bones for necklaces...

But like I said I haven't hunted in a few years,, but I really enjoy walleye, white perch, red snapper, trout and bass fishing...

in Texas it is illegal to not eat what you kill

It is an offense (Class C misdemeanor) if a person while hunting kills or wounds a game bird or game animal and intentionally or knowingly fails to make a reasonable effort to retrieve the animal or bird and include it in the person's daily or seasonal bag limit.

It is an offense if a person intentionally takes or possesses a game bird, game animal, or fish and intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly, or with criminal negligence, fails to keep the edible portions of the bird, animal, or fish in an edible condition.
