Its sad how society and hollywood view weight.
My daughter is 6" tall and 147 shes a size 3 but very muscular and she thinks shes fat! Im a bit over weight...im 5'7 and 168 a size 10...but am told i look like a size 7 cuz i carry my weight well and am muscular. the way i look at it is, i'm happy with myself. Anmd if someone else dosent like how i look.....then dont look at me! |

Ladies, don't allow yourselves to listen to anyone that tell you what you should do with your body, your lives, your self esteem. I just think people say the darnest things when hungry  Live a good life Live a healthy lifestyle Treat people like you want to be treated Feel good about yourself Life is short, ride it out don't sit on the sidelines, have fun and throw out those unnecessary categories people want to put us in. I'm a size 12, and by entertainment standards, that's fat. Someone told me men don't care so much about sizes or inches, just a good bust-waist-hip ratio. But that's just one guy. Some men like their girls slim. So just throwing the question out there, what do you consider "fat"? |

I don't consider someone fat unless you can count chins and stomach folds.

The sad thing is people really do become obsessed with their weight. I lost 125 pounds about 5 years ago, I had cancer. Then keeping the weight off is really hard...I actually developed an eating disorder so I could remain thin. Is this how we are suppose to be? All of my friends and family kept telling me how horrible I looked..I looked sick to them because I am a "big boned" girl. I had to look deep inside myself and decide do I want to be sick the rest of my life to remain thin OR am I going to allow myself to eat and be healthier?
I gained 26 pounds...do I regret it? I do BUT its a society issue telling me that I should be thinner. In my mind I will always say "DIET, DIET, DIET." Good Luck and I guess the one thing everyone has to realize, some times its not as easy as people think it is when everyone says that we need to be healthier and gain weight or we need to diet. Remember, people do take things to heart!!! |

frankly, a woman who is secure with who she is, how she looks, where she is in her life, and what she wants out of life moving forward is very attractive to me...
a woman who is too large, or too thin to love themselves - and be active in life is very un-attractive to me... people who focus on specific weight/height criteria are (in my opinion) shallow. If you loose/gain weight becuase that is what you want and are secure and happy with that... you can be as sexy as you want. If you are insecure about who you are and how you look (fat or thin) it is very unattractive... 5'6" 170lbs - I got no problem with that... if she is happy in herself... what is fat? being unhappy becuase of your size, and worrying about what other people think of you... what is thin? being unhappy because of your size, and worrying about what other people think of you... OP: your NOT fat, you are gorgeous!! If anyone tells you otherwise, they have their own issues... |

As long as they are happy with themselves what does it matter to anyone else................live your own life and let them live theirs...........
