I would like to see a study on how many homosexual people are actually "settled down". I mean gay marriage is out.. we dont even encourage that in our society. Im just gonna take a stab at it, and say that Ill bet the men in your country are not as openly gay as in the U.S.A or some other places. Well, I mean they APPEAR gay.. (dont get me wrong) but.. not open about it.

You don't mention any kind of employment or having transportation which coupled with your very young appearance probably makes people think that you would not be able to get out and do much to have fun. Listing some of the active stuff you would like to share with a mate might help. Quite a few gay people all over England but I think it is probably like in the USA where they tend to shop and recreate in certain neighborhoods. Looking for a roconcileing Methodist church might introduce you to someone wanting a family type relationship. In the USA there are many long term gay couples; some lasting lifetimes.
