I just started a new job and the girl that sits next to me is nice as pie. She is my age but sexy as hell, and she knows it. She draws alot of attention and is very talkative, she's perfect. I am no slouch, however my sign is Pisces which is kind of on the quiet side and I can be a little withdrawn at times, she is a Scorpion and draws my energy. I want to be able to stay in this job cause I like it, I know this sounds silly, but how should I handle this, try to be a little more upbeat, or stick with who I am, we seem to get along good, but recently she had a guy in who is diggin her and he said hi to me we shook hands, he was gorgeous, and we joked a little about him being a cop, then I retreated into my shell. How can I be a little more friendly..She is always on, and I am not..so to speak.

are you there to work or socialize??? I don't get why it should matter about that unless you are in a sales job and personality helps makes sales.

hey the best thing to do is just continue to be yourself. cause trying to become something you truly are not, can only lead to possile lies and put you into uncomfortable situations.

As long as they're doing their job and I'm doing my job, it's good. I'm not there to socialize and make friends. That's how I am. I would say just be yourself. Sounds like you're just thinking too much. I have a bad habit of doing that myself.  |

So it can be intimidating at times. But I am very strong on the inside and very confident. But....you know everyone has feelings.. |

Just be yourself and continue on what you are doing and or learning in a job.

The most disturbing part about this, is the fact that you would actually contemplate leaving your job...in this economy...and one you like....just because there is someone that sits next to you that is sexy and energetic...really...who cares. Be yourself and don't worry about her. Why do we do that? Worry about what others think or how we compare to another. There is something special about each and everyone of us.

You work,an then you leave work. It's not always easy to leave work behind? Just have a positive attitude in the morning when you wake! Everyone has a reason in Life!!!  Be the best person you can be!!!
