would dating be considered just ****ing them . a killer body is when you can look from the spr ummmmm, what's a 'spr'? also, to me anyway, dating is a getting-to-know-you stage of going out for dinner, activities, etc. and spending quality time with that person before deciding whether you want to be intimate with them or not.  and if your lucky maybe seeing what heaven looks like.  this thread is about being shallow. we've all shown that everybody is shallow in their own way. when it's all said and done i just don't want to be in a shallow grave.  I do, think of the awesomeness with part of my hand sticking through the dirt...epic awesomeness that would be, just plain epic. |

Hi there: I just scan emails without a through read. I find it is easy for me to analyze an individual.Am i a shallow species?Lets see. I traveled around the world to find a little girl. took me 2 yrs , sacrifice all my possessions to find her.Braved accusations , famine and pestilence with my eys on the prize.Went to school , got a masters. Scuba dived , hangliding , lost my house , lived on the streets , fought and got back control of my life and here i am .

am conducting a 'social experiment' if you will on another site after becoming incredibly suspicious that yes men just look at the pictures and no further.... the profile i have seems to be getting plenty of hits and have had lots of contact...then it came to the photos.... i have a choice of several photos - one taken at the end of a six year old birthday party after a week of working fourteen hour days - it is in black and white and i am wearing absolutely zip makeup - the photo i think is quite ok for an 'a la naturale' look and shouldnt scare anyone away the second photo is of course in colour - and i am wearing makeup - you can tell it is the same person but this is quite an attractive photo... the experiment? i alternate btw sending the black and white photo and the colour one no prizes for guessing which one gets the most responses what amuses me no end though is that all these men absolutely insist that 'looks' are not 'that important'....it is a brain they are looking for - someone with a sense of humour, an intelligent mind, who is caring and compassionate and who has their shite together blah blah blah.... oh and btw - it doesnt matter if they are 'ugly' men or 'good looking' men (if you subscribe to an aesthetic point of view' - they all go for the pretty photo... the next part of the experiment - i will make contact again with those that didnt respond to the plain photo by sending them the pretty one... lets just wait and see if they respond to that...if they do...it proves me correct...you really are a shallow species... I prefer pics with big boobs.....

hmmm... seems to me its the make-up toting, hairspray wielding female of the species that seems to be more concerned about looks... I've never once in my life put on make-up, eye-liner, lipstick, and I feel what I present myself to the public is just fine... I don't need a boob job, liposuction, coligen lips, or major amounts of plastic surgery
And... ... the sheelpes of the world have been convinced in our society that the "beauty" norms of this culture are "all that"... howbeit we all know beauty is only skin deep... and it is the phony-baloney Hollywood types that have given us our current cultural selection of "beauty"... remember the medieval artists that painted lot's of fat girls as the most beautiful women... I'm inclined to believe that humankind is mostly fickle, and easily swayed by peer pressure... People in this culture need to be told what to think... and the magazines, television, movies, every media source, pumps the sheeple's heads full of what they need them to think about in order to sell the next great cosmetic or hygene product... its all bull$hit |

hey I'm not the one who insists that LOOKS ARENT IMPORTANT.... I dont care if they are to an individual but dont crap on about it if you dont hold true to the adage....  Yeah, well. A lot of women say the same things. They also want " honesty, intelligence, and humor " until a guy with all of those qualities looks them in the eye. Then they find a couple of things " wrong " with the guy until they convince themselves that they are right. Of course looks are important. There absolutely HAS to be some attraction for that person to grab your attention in the first place. |
