a contract is only as good as the people who signed it.... Not if the contract is crooked in the first place. What use is marriage? It doesn't prove anything in a relationship, it doesn't help the relationship, if anything it hinders it more. It is foolish to commit that much to one person for the rest of your life, especially when it is done on average after a year or two. Five years later the divorce becomes final and they move onto the second marriage, five years down the road the divorce becomes final and they move onto the third marriage, etc. etc. 50% of first marriages (coin-flip anyone?), 67% of second marriages (oddly enough 67 is the prefix in most states for blocking your number on caller ID), and 74% of third marriages fail (74 MPH and you have yourself a hurricane or typhoon). It is like playing duck, duck, goose... |

if marriage was ment to work and be amazing then why is the divorce rate soo high.. im not Betty crocker in not Suzie homemaker and i cant stand to date someone for too long! With me it's the other way around, they never want to date me for too long.  yeah ive been dumped before but they all have been losers... I think we've dated the same guys.  lol yeah and wow if i could erase every guy ive ever dated..id be a virgin who knew how to trust people I'm a born again virgin.  i guess i am too and glady i could go the rest of my life with out getting any Me too! Mind ****s are much more fun anyway!

It is mostly a piece of paper.. but the tradition of it holds a sparkle for me. I love Erik, and would love nothing more than to have my traditional little get together and celebration of our love and commitment to one another, but the "piece of paper" as we're putting it, wouldn't "prove" that our love was true, so it's not something that I would demand from him.
