Try to remember every detail about the ones that attacked you. Sit down
and write a description while it is fresh in your mind. They have sketch
artists that are pretty good at what they do in some departments. Any
tattooes?? Visible Piercings?? Anything different is what's going to
stand out during an identification process. Long hair,short hair,color
and style. Eyes close together,far apart,shape.Oriental or other
nationality? Describe the clothing. What was their ages. Teeth condition
when they opened their pie holes? Missing teeth is a clue. Any scars?
Shoes..sneaks, black leather,etc. Did they come out of the club or did
they appear to come from down the street. How many were in the group?
How many were male/female? Any accents when speaking? That with some
actual pictures from the club cameras could nail down who they were. I
would also return to the club a few nights to see if you can spot the
ones that did this. You can take pics of them at that point and maybe
ask the bartender if he knows them. I would bet that next Saturday
night, they will be there again if they are regulars.If they ran a tab
they will have given credit cards to the bar tender. They can ID them.
The cabbie probably didn't react because he sees this stuff all the time
and didn't want to spend all his time in court with all the assaults
that happen around the clubs every weekend. They can become targets also
if they tell on the wrong person.

Guns are not demonised by ignorant people, but by intelligent ones.
These things can kill, you know.
And if not every idiot had the right to carry one, there would be a lot
less violence.
And you can stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Unbelievable, sorry to hear about your ordeal. Can't believe the cops
did nothing. That's their job!! And what the he!! is wrong with those
kids. They need to sit in a cell for a while with buba to teach them
some respect. So sorry, hope you two heal up quick.

They make small cans of mace that works very well in these cases. They
can be concealed in the palm of your hand when you leave a club and if
someone grabs you the shot to the face will leave him/her gagging in the
street while you get away. Just be aware that when you use a
weapon...they will pull whatever they have to retaliate so you have to
hit and run.

Damn sorry you both got hurt. I say sue the cops for not helping,
protecting you and sue the kids and the parents, i agree all info can be
found by calling police headquarters and cab company BUT have your
lawyer do it for better results.
If you do it first it somehow will be lost by time it comes to trial.

Thanx for all the replys...BUT bear...I am not in the U.S. and handguns
are only allowed here if you collect them or use them for target
shooting...I'm in Canada.....

I wouldn't carry one even of I could...Taking another human life is not
in my nature period!!!!!!!!

I alway thought cops were worthless. Now that really confirms it.

I guess I could have given my dad's advice which was shoot first ask
questions later. If they were a Christian then you have reunited them
with Christ that much faster.

This a a fairly quiet city so imagine my surprise...We are doing all we
can right now to see that everyone that should have done their jobs BUT
didn't is held accountable...We have the pics etc and are making
complaints etc to the cab company and the police and they best find out
where these clowns were dropped of because if I have to do their
jobs...It won't be quietly!!!!!

I had a girl friend who said the same thing, until her best friend was
raped and had her head cut off in a spare of the moment crime.

and if things don't happen asap you will go public.

Well I won't be playing nice that's for sure!!!!!!!

Apparently one of the police officers...I don't know if he was on duty
or not...but he is brothers with the owners of the club...BUT they
weren't responsible as we couldnt even get in the club..That's why we
called a cab to take us home...in fact it was them who did more than
anyone to help!!!!!!!

Whether that has anything to do with why they did nothing I don't
know...They didn't know we weren't in the club because they didn't even
ask us our names let alone any other questions!!!!!!!

Bear I'm glad you love the US Constitution...BUT I am in Canada as I
said and it has nothing to do with my thread!!!!!!
