Shelley, it wouldn't hurt to tap off a quick letter to the editor,of
your local newspaper, about the 'incident', and your concerns regarding
all of it.

The lack of assistance, from both the cab driver, and the police.

Sorry to hear what happen to you Native....It's just wrong. I guys this
is why I moved out of LA. I was jumped by three guys and while I was on
the ground they were kicking my head. When they stopped I got up but was
in a daze but had enough sense to get the club that you lock your
stirring wheel with and chaced them. I was only able to get one and I'm
sure when i was don't he felt worse then I did the next day. It just
sucks they way kids are brought up in todays world in some areas.

much different out west.
Edmonton had one of the most corrupt police forces in North America for
