Happy New Year everybody!!!

My resolution for this year is cut down on procrastination. Does anybody have some suggestions for me to accomplish this goal? I feel like I need a personal assistant to keep up with everything, especially since I broke my arm. The arm healed, but I'm still going to physical therapy once a week. Plus working 10 1/2 hour days in front of a computer. My eyes get really tired, so then paperwork and housework has piled up around my house. Help!!

The best solution I know of is motivation. If you have a good reason to overcome your inertia, you will do it. When you really want it, it will happen. flowerforyou

Regarding housework, I have to play games with myself to get anything done. I will either pretend a celebrity is coming over or actually invite someone to come in a couple days or I'll do a before & after video of the place.

I procrastinate also, though I lead a busy life it is frustrating. I'll clean the areas that are open and leave my bedroom for last.

I found that you can clean and keep surfaces and floors done, it won't look too bad. If I can't manage to keep it up about twice a year, I hire someone and it affords me a brand new start.

It's easier to keep it up once it's been cleaned and your level of frustration is diminished

Once when it was time to spring clean, I felt overwhelmed..So I mad a list of everything that needed to be done, one room at a time and promised myself to do at least one thing everyday.. Well, I started and then was doing more than one everyday and soon was finished... Worked for me drinker

I actually remember when I did laundry on Mondays, ironing on Tuesdays, etc. Pretty soon Mondays became Wednesdays and Thursdays became Saturdays.slaphead
