That people look better in person than thier profile pix.

That I am the 1,000,000th person to visit a crap load of sites and apparently I have won all sorts of things (I am just too lazy to click on it to see what I have won)

That everytime I go to my favorite porn sites, some horny 18 year old from my home town is wanting to chat.

...........and finally............

everyone is an expert..........don't matter what the subject....some a-hole out there will always be on line to tell you that you are wrong and they are right.

I happen to be an expert on A-holes and I don't think you are right about that. But then I could be wrong.

Hell thats nothing. I once spotted an A-hole from 5000 yards away. Ya'll amateuers......smokin

That i'm 10 foot tall and bullet proof, my abs are the size of a cadillac, and..and...

Lol, Truly..

I have learned a lot, being a net junkie/geek for years.

Listen to people, you may not like what they have to say..but if you want to grow intellectually, and socially, having an understanding, of the views of others, why they have those views, and then you will find one of three things..

One, the theory may support your views

Two, The theory may encourage thought of expanding your views, or perhaps change your mind.

Or 3, may reinforce your stance altogether.

One thing i have to say, and that is, it is very easy to criticize someone for having opposing viewpoints.

To that, let's ask this question.. Can anyone honestly say, that all of their dearest friends, (in the offline world) agree with everything they say or do?

Of course not, and it should be no different online. Can anyone truly say, that they have not been influenced by friends? Perhaps learned a few things? Maybe taught a few things?

The internet, is one of the greatest learning tools ever invented. Mass communication, idea exchange, all of that. It is sad that some folks are not more open to the ideas of others, and resort to petty arguments, which we all know, lead nowhere. JMO

Actually by being online I have been able to talk to a lot more people then I would have ever been able to.

I have learned to search for information there is not much one can not find out online.

At times I have found out that some people are much easier to talk to this way and will be more honest with others but....then I have seen those that make me shake my head and wonder why they say what they do as well.

Hummm as well as it is addicting as Buttons said shshsh I'm hooked line and sinker...........slaphead

Take my phone, take my tv, take my books take what ever ya want but..........ya touch my computer and ya going down.......

I gotta admit...I used to rag on the internet before I began to realize it's true potential.

I have mooned someone on all but one continent (antartica....it WILL happen)

I have figured out that virtual streaking is viable..(I figured out that lil gem on this very site)

I am given the opportunity to add my knowledge to the vast wealth of global information so that anyone can use it to better themselves and further advance humanity in general..........for example: Spurs during sex is good in theory. In reality, spurs should only be worn during foreplay..........believe me.....I was the moron who suggested she wear them. Never again!

The web can expand peoples interests far beyond the expected.......I showed my 78 year old dad how to surf the web....I figured he would look up harleys and martial arts....what is his newest fascination? PINK! yes, the singer...he acts like a teenager with a hardon when he talks about finding her on the net ...I would have never guessed.
