YES, saw a report on it...bit by bit of POX's "news" story is disected showing how they used heavy editing and timing to make it appear as they reported...but NOT one violation was true. It was all a smear and tho~ effective shows that POX and the GOP just make chit up as they go along.

"The hidden-camera tapes of ACORN employees supposedly advising conservative activists disguised as a pimp and prostitute on the best ways to launder their money were, it turns out, heavily edited, as Rachel Maddow documented Tuesday night."

"conservatives James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles were not, in fact, in costume during their interviews with ACORN employees. They did, however, openly discuss crimes they claimed they were planning to commit, and ACORN employees promptly reported them to the police.

Maddow's segment follows a report from California Attorney General Jerry Brown that ACORN employees committed no crimes in the O'Keefe-Giles case, and corrections by the Public Editor of the New York Times to some of the misleading editing accepted as fact in the paper of record.

But as Maddow acknowledges below, it was too little, too late. ACORN became a pariah, lost its funding, and on the verge of bankruptcy has disbanded, though its local pieces survive in other forms.

"This is not meant to excuse what ACORN has done wrong in the past," Maddow said in summary. "But the huge tide of negative publicity that followed these videotapes and the coverage they got on Fox wall-to-wall for months was bullpuckey. It was a dishonest political stunt that bears no resemblance to journalism and no resemblance to the actual facts of what happened in those offices. But it worked ... means be damned, in the end, it worked. Who do you think is next on their list?"

Meanwhile, O'Keefe and Giles have been feted by the conservative movement, despite O'Keefe's subsequent arrest for breaking into Sen. Mary Landrieu's New Orleans office."

Acorn is finished and should have been yanked years ago when they were using Donald duck, and Mickey mouse as registered voters. The Huffington post as usual can't seem to do a news story on that train wreck called Obama so it has to resort to dusting off those old news stories trying to find anything possible to draw attention away from Obama and the mess he has made.

I expect later this year to read how the Huffington post along with many other liberal rags went bankrupt due to the fact that they are ignoring real news and trying unsuccesfully to distract the public with the current events going on.

LOLslaphead "no name calling if you can"
Yet you called the person a Hannity puppet.
Do the words pot and kettle ring a bell LOL.

The Huffington post and MSNBC are just as credible as Fox.

My old man told me once "Believe half of what you see and none of what you read" ALL MEDIA FALLS INTO THAT CATEGORY

I watched the Rachal Maddow show where she complained of Fox editing the videos. And you know what she edited the videos to spin her view. And the case she was talking about with that specific video was only from 1 state. If I remember there is law suits in several states.

Huffpo and MSNBC are just reporting from an investigation ordered by a Republican governor and completed by his Atty Gen...

Here's a POX report, will you believe this one?:

Jerry Brown: ACORN did not break criminal laws

"Some members of the community organizing group ACORN engaged in the incident did not break any criminal laws, according to a report released Thursday by Brown that includes newly obtained videotapes.

The report also uncovered "likely violations'' of state civil laws designed to protect personal information, including dumping 500 pages of confidential records into a Dumpster, failure to file a 2007 tax return, and four instances of possible voter registration fraud by ACORN in San Diego in connection with the 2008 election, as well as other irregularities in the group's California operations.

Those irregularities have been referred to the appropriate authorities, Brown said.

"A few ACORN members exhibited terrible judgment and highly inappropriate behavior in videotapes obtained in the investigation, but they didn't commit prosecutable crimes in California,'' said Brown, the presumptive Democratic gubernatorial nominee.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger asked Brown in September to investigate the activities of ACORN in California.

Schwarzenegger's request was triggered by tapes made by undercover videographer James O'Keefe III that purported to show ACORN employees providing advice on how to conduct a prostitution ring and commit other serious crimes.

However, new, unedited videotapes discovered through Brown's investigation shed clearer light on interactions between O'Keefe and the now- defunct ACORN, Brown said.

Videotapes secretly recorded last summer and severely edited by O'Keefe seemed to show ACORN employees encouraging a "pimp'' (O'Keefe) and his "prostitute'' (actually Florida college student Hannah Miles), in conversations involving prostitution by underage girls, human trafficking and cheating on taxes, Brown said.

Brown said evidence gathered in his investigation showed that one ACORN worker called the police, another caught on to the scheme and played along with it, claiming, among other things, that she had murdered her abusive husband.

The woman's two former husbands are alive and well, according to the report.

At the beginning and end of the Internet videos, O'Keefe was dressed as a flamboyant 1970s pimp, but in his actual taped sessions with ACORN workers, he was dressed in a shirt and tie, presented himself as a law student, and said he planned to use the prostitution proceeds to run for Congress, according to Brown's report.

Brown said the original storm of publicity created by O'Keefe's videotapes was instrumental in ACORN's subsequent denunciation in Congress, a sudden tourniquet on its funding and the organization's eventual collapse.

In New Orleans, O'Keefe faces a maximum sentence of six months in custody and a $5,000 fine if convicted of reduced federal charges related to misrepresentation in gaining access to the Louisiana office telephones of Sen.

Mary Landrieu, D-La., according to Brown. "

Let's see, you people are lied to by POX then corrected by a POX affiliate but still deny the true story...talk about denial. Let's see if POX "news" Corrects itself on air...kinda doubt it, they stick to their lies...and so do their sheepish viewers. POX viewers have to be among the most ignorant and ill-informed people in this country.

I think its a very uncertain and strange time we live in,,,,,even video cant be trusted and news is suspect

people believe what they want, regardless, if you show them video or news otherwise they just convince themself its unreliable or there is some cover up conspiracy,,,,,what SHOULD we trust anymore?

Ever notice how the Baby Libwhack crew always distorts factual data ... ? If there's a bigger network of Overactive Underachievers who want total control of everyone else's life, I haven't seen 'em. Ever wonder (1) when they bathe, and (2) where their money comes from? Seems they have WAY more free time to conduct their 'angry little protests', 'flashmobs', and 'rent-a-mob' activities than I ever did at that age. There was this little thing called 'work' that kept getting in the way of 'free time'. What they gon' do when Daddy dies and takes the T-bird away for good ... ?

LOLOLOL>

Did you miss this part of the article you posted?

It says "some" it doesn't say all..

What does irregularities have been referred to the appropriate authorities mean?

That there were no irregularities or the investigation uncovered something afoul that needs to be addressed?
