I didn't realize I looked scary. That wasn't the intention. I was pretty tired, that's all it is.

I try to talk to her and make eye contact...but I also have that fear of comin off as awkward or creating an awkward situation.

What kind of signals to you give off to let the opposite sex know you are interested? I do a mating dance. That's obvious surely.

My mating dance resembled the Truffle Shuffle... not so effective

I never got the whole..."drop your hanky so they'll pick it up" bit. Maybe Ladies back then just got bored and wanted a nice rear view...

I end up trying to save myself when I fall and doing this weird dance kind of thing. It's fun for me and awkward for everyone else. Double Fun!

besides what has already been said...

i look for the hair flip or hair twist, sometimes she'll check her look in the mirror, as for me, i will look and smile of course, but if i'm interested i will talk with her and gauge her reaction after talking a little if she appears weakly polite or uninterested it is a no - "well, it is nice to meet you!" then back to the drawing board. but if she appears interested in talking and keeping me around....then... "so, what do you want to do this evening?"

i find that when i'm into someone, and i'm talking to them, i usually lean forward and find my chin cupped in either one hand, or both.

NOW I find out that grabbin' a handful of boob probably isn't being interpreted as the subtle sign of appreciation and fondness I meant it to be ... damn ...

Myka, I don't give off signals, don't make eye contact and apparently no one can read through the walls of my house. It's on my list of thinks to work on though.
