Does it seem people have gotten angrier to you? (In general personality)

I have not felt that,,,,so far

Well there is a heat wave going on right now and people do tend to be angrier when it's extremely hot outside. Road rage gets really bad in the summer.

I have to agree with that completely ... heat frustrates people and makes them feel threatened.

You can only take off so many cloths and its still hot and if you have to be working it makes people have short fuses.

Now as for other than this heatwave ... I think the ventability of the semi anonomyous internet thingie is letting peopld print out things they normally wouldn't express and this too can look like people are angrier ... but it probably releases things so might actually make them calmer in real life.

hard to say ... we need more studies on that issue.:dontknow:

I don't necessarily sense more anger but definitely less tolerance maybe? I know for me personally, the older I get the less tolerant I am for certain things....

yes... and it's getting worse... people in general, not people in here

going to the store, i was in traffic, nobody was going anywhere soon, and i didn't pull up to the car in front of me, at a distance of about 20 feet. well , they guy behind me starts honking and yelling like i just killed his dog or something... lol i just kept waving at him, and then just stayed right there thru a light, so he had something to actually be mad about...

Yes traffic wise I can relate.........we get many visitors to the area, in which, I live.........there is an intersection I always slow down at because one way has no stop signs and the other way has two stop signs on either side.....people get angry with me for slowing down and checking at that intersection......I have just seen way too many accidents with major injuries there.......people beep and yell at me all the time there......I ain't dying, by all means pass me.......

yes...
anger is just fear, people are afraid and there are good reasons for their fear.

it seems more like people have gotten more self centered, more paranoid, and more inconsiderate,,,


which makes for a pretty miserable person altogether

it's the environment...the economy...it is affecting everyone in many ways.

I do believe that you are right about the economy. It's majorly stressing people out and causing tempers to flare.

Like LadyLid said....fear is the root of anger.

add the "unknown" to that fear and yer right on target

Not anymore than usual. Which is actually kind of sad, considering the 'usual' is angry.

i agree and have discovered that about myself as well.
i have also noted a shift in general on the forums as well.

perhaps,its as others say..weather...economy...or maybe even their real personalities being shown...hrmm.
