I've been to both coasts, several times, and I've noticed that there are some really cool people on either coast, and both have similarities. I mean Oregon and Washington are totally kickass, so is North Carolina and Virginia, not to mention Maine. California sucks a$$, so does Florida's Atlantic coast and Jersey and New York.

Now I haven't visited every coastal town in every state yet, so I might have missed some little gems, but I keep going back to all of them, because it's the only way you get to see the ocean.

Don't forget Lake George. There is some very beautiful boating to be had there.

Having lived on both I can say with confidence. The west coast sucks big fat donkey balls.

I remember moving back east and getting off the plane in Georgia and just feeling home. No fake people. No people saying "look how Cali I am!" Just straight southern charm, warm air, the smell of peaches.. just so nice. Instant relaxation. East Coast owns.

I live on the east coast near Washington, DC and there are tons of fake people around. But, that being said I don't dislike the east coast at all. I'm getting ready to move to Annapolis and love it there.

I also love California. Specifically San Francisco. bigsmile

Now I will say this, Having lived in LA for most of my life there is no place like it here BUT the women for the most part are really stuck up and into themselves. This is the only place where you can say Hi to a woman and just get glared at like saying hi is insulting or beneath them. Oh how I want to free the pimp hand some times but why soil it on the unworthy! I got better things to concentrate on like making a better life for myself.

Everything is about trade offs. Yeah there is a lot of great things here but again dealing with the attitudes of most of the women here just gets my goat!

Hey, where did all the water go???
