Just how far back will humanity be thrown , when an epic magnetic storm kills satellites , fries sub stations ,and electricity becomes non existant?

Life on Earth is very fragile to begin with. Human's dependency on technology only places us in a far more precarious position actually.
So yep, humanity could easily be flung into a dark age or worse via a catastrophic failure of technology, or even economy really. We're living on the edge.

we existed for how many thousands of year before all that stuff? i think we can manage

The one thing humans rely on the most is electricity,
For heating, cooling, water purification, food storage, communication, pumping gas, creating materials for shelter etc,etc. And an electromagnetic burst from or own sun could really diminish the human population |

Well, I plan on personally starting the first real panic. Maybe some looting, a little arson (just a small town, like maybe Toledo). You know, have some fun with it!!
