I workout 5-6 times a week.
I mostly do a jogging/walking combination for 45-60 minutes (normally around 3-5 miles). And I do 30 minutes of Pilates 3 times a week (with 1 whole hour on Saturday's). My workouts are normally between 60-90 minutes during the day. I go early in the morning with my jogging/walking (around 5am-5:30am) and early evening with my Pilates (around 5pm-5:30pm). |

I have been doing a 20/40 for about six months every day. 20 pull ups, then 40 push ups. Occasionally I will do 40 bur pees instead of push ups or do 40 body weight squats after the push ups.

What do you do for exercise, how often, how intense? Do you do it for stress relief or to stay in shape (or both)? What type of work-out do you like and how intense??? Love it/Hate it? any other comments.... I do resistance training Sun, Tue and Fri for 1.5 hours and speed walk daily up a slope for 30 minutes. I'm just interested in staying toned. Prefer the weight resistance training but about to double my cardio. Hate going but once started love it! |

Reps increase by 1 every week for 5 weeks then go back to 8 and increase weight so its progressive all the time. Martial arts 2-3 times a week on non lifting days. I do it to stay/get in shape lol. Sometimes I don't feel like going but go anyway. I always feel great afterwards. |

Sometimes I don't feel like going but go anyway. I always feel great afterwards. I can't use free weights as the centrifugal force would ruin my access on the downward movement. I get a good work-out on the resistance machines though. I usually increase weight as I go but I am topping out on what my access can safely lift, so I will be increasing reps now from 10 to 12, sets of 3. Sundays I do enough sets to completely exhaust my arms and legs. Lots of sweat goes into it! |

I work out everyday. I've come up with my own routine, although why I've chosen one this hard is beyond me.
Do I love it? No!!!! Do I love the effects on my body? Yes!!!! I like the tightness of my body, and although it's a total fluke, I like to touch my abs or my thighs after a workout, feel how firm they are and tell myself it's working LOL. My skin is clearer and my mood improves too, so that keeps me going. But don't get me wrong, if there was just one pill that did all of this for me, I'd never do another donkey kick again. |
